My second favorite ice cream place in San Francisco. They have some interesting ice cream flavors. It is pricey, which is why it makes it my second favorite place. However, they do give decent scoops unlike Bi-Rite. This location is convenient, even though it is in the Ferry Building. If you're lucky, you can get in line when it's relatively dead and get your ice cream quickly.
Nothing but praise for the place. The flavors are always original, the ice is top notch and the folks doing the scooping couldn't be more helpful. It's just the prices the keeps the place from being a 5 out of 5. A small, and I mean really small scoop will run you $4.95. Don't get me wrong, it's great ice cream, if not amazing ice cream, but even for San Francisco the price is a bit steep.
This place was pretty good! We came around 7:30pm which was great because they were the only place still open in the Ferry Building. They have interesting and unique flavors (along with some traditional flavors). It was pricey for 1 scoop ($4.25 no cone), but it's SF and in the morning middle tourist country, so it makes sense.
One of the best places to get ice cream in San Francisco. Try their Secret Breakfast menu and other flavors. You will not be disappointed. The lines are usually pretty long it moves pretty quickly. If you happen to be in SF area definitely a must try, along with other delicious stuff you can find in the Ferry Building.
