Grunting Yogi !!

Bears always give a person several signs and warnings that your getting too close, but with this bear I take my hat off to him, for one of his warning signs was being very vocal to me which I took and understood very clearly.

6 week old lion baby - give him a chance. SAVE AFRICANS LIONS!
Despite the lions’ symbolic importance throughout the ages, today they are suffering from a silent extinction across Africa.  Knowledge of the King of Beasts’ plight is little known.
Since the dawn of man the lion has played an integral role in our lives: symbolically, religiously, culturally, economically and biologically. To lose the lion from our world would be to lose part of our global heritage.

A statistic that surprises many people now is how many wild lions remain in Africa.
In the 1900's there were at least 500.000 lions in Africa!
1960: 200.000 lions
1980:   76.000 lions
2012:   23.000 lions
2013:   17.000 lions
2014:   15.000 lions

The wild lion population within the next 10 to 15 years unless something dramatic is done about the situation. These figures represent a 95% decline in these predator populations.

Please support my good friends LIONAID to help raise awareness of one of our most iconic species by visiting page http://www.lionaid.org

I hope so the year the of the  LION !!
