Short version: They use crap parts that don't last, and likely mark up the parts' costs. Details: I was out near DIA when my car overheated. My insurance only covered a tow to somewhere nearby, so I ended up at JM Auto. They told me I needed a new radiator & thermostat, so they replaced them for around $650. Just 14 months later, my car overheated AGAIN. This time I was near by neighborhood trusted mechanic, and they said that it needed a new radiator & thermostat AGAIN. I called JM Auto, and they said that the parts they used had a limited lifetime warrantee, so they sent me the invoices for the parts they used on my car a year ago (so that we could get replacement parts at no cost). RED FLAG: JM Auto had blacked out the prices that they paid for the parts, leading me to believe that they falsely market up the parts on the bill that I paid. My (trusted) mechanic told me that the parts that they used were awful and they would just blow out again a year from now. They flat out told me they wouldn't put those crap parts in my car. I called JM Auto to tell them this - the receptionist listened and said she'd pass it along. I asked for a phone call back from the manager, and they never bothered to call.
