The Hafez Mausoleum in #Shiraz is always filled with enthusiastic fans from all around the world for his enduring popularity and influence,  although born some six hundred years ago in southern #Iran, #Hafez is a contemporary and universal poet.
People look up Divan of Hafez which are words of heart, sometimes used for fortunetelling. Hafez has a profound effect on Persian life and culture,
"سال‌ها دل طلب جام جم از ما می‌کرد ... وان چه خود داشت ز بیگانه تمنا می‌کرد
For years my heart was in search of Jam-e Jam (the Holy Grail)
It sought of strangers, what it already possessed "

Haji Firouz & Haft-seen
A special set of 7 Haji Firouz figures each with an element of Haft-Seen which is a tradition of Norooz, March, 2013 in Tajrish, a neighborhood along the northern edge of Tehran, #Iran . There are many legends around who Haji Firouz really represents: some say he symbolizes the red-dressed fire keepers of the Zoroastrians, but a majority believe that Haji Firouz symbolizes Firouz Nahavandi who assassinated Caliph Omar in the city of Medina in 644 AD.

#Pasargadae,  Tomb of Cyrus the Great founder of #Iran. In 539 BC, after liberation of Babylonians, followed Cyrus' liberal help for the return of Jews who were displaced and held slaves. For this, Cyrus is addressed in the Jewish Tanakh as the "Lord's Messiah". Glorified by Ezra, and by Isaiah, Cyrus is the one to whom "Yahweh, the god of heaven" has given "all the Kingdoms of the earth"
Yet, today the irony is that the Zionist state of Israel is built upon assimilation of Palestinians and systematic discrimination of the Arab majority is supported by western powers.
