When the Provo City Center Temple in Provo, Utah, was dedicated this past spring, the Church hit a milestone of 150 temples in operation around the world. While getting a temple built is definitely a coordinated effort, the Special Projects Department puts in much of the heavy lifting to get it done. They have a very detailed process in place to get temples from design to a completed temple.

We offer a variety of classes to our employees. This month we are focusing on personal finance. We give away prizes and gift cards, and we were uplifted by the insights from the financial planners at DMBA.

The welfare tradition within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints must be one of the world’s best. As correspondent Lucky Severson reports from Salt Lake City, the program supplies food, clothes, and all kinds of care to those in need—Mormon or not. The relief is always free, and the men and women who do the work—growers, packers, distributors, and caregivers—are all volunteers.

Saying you're passionate is pretty cliché—go with this instead: http://on.mash.to/2bYoR7m
In one cover letter after the next, and one meeting after another, all interviewers hear is “passion, passion, passion,” and candidates start to blend together.

No Greater Work
Introduction

Your talents and skills will help further the work of the Lord as you find satisfaction in what you do.

We hire top performers who can advance the work of the Lord. We seek people who have much to offer and are dedicated to building the kingdom. The cause in which we are engaged is the greatest cause on earth. We look for people who are resourceful, upbeat, and loyal and who will give their best in what they are contributing. Our organization is founded on the great mission of the Church, which is to invite all to come unto Christ, and we need people who are dedicated to working in the Lord's kingdom to fulfill that mission by providing assistance, support, and materials to Church leaders, teachers, missionaries, and families.

“It [Church employment] will not only be the source of your income, but even more importantly, the source of your satisfaction. You may take pride in the fact that you work for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.”

—Former Church President Gordon B. Hinckley, in Working in the Lord’s Kingdom (DVD)
