This anti-pollution experiment took place in Rochefort, France on December 5th, 2014.  A dynamic sweeping boom technique is used: one side attached to a small boat, and one side fixed on land. Instruments were deployed to compare this real-life scenario to the outputs of our numerical model. Participants: +EIGSI La Rochelle  Conseil Général 17, Port de Commerce de Rochefort.

This anti-pollution experiment for oil spill response using booms (ISDAMP project - www.isdamp.eu) took place in Lisbon on October 14th and 15th, 2014. Participants: Lisbon Port, Repsol terminal, MARETEC-IST, and  Falmouth Harbour Comissioners.

This anti-pollution experiment was organised by Falmouth Harbour Commissioners in Falmouth, Cornwall, UK from May 14th to 21st, 2014. To read more about the set-up of this experiment:

The exercise was a part of 2 European projects: SPRES (Atlantic area transnational program ERDF) and ISDAMP (Civil protection mechanism DG-ECHO) help to share best practices for oil-spill responders and scientific spill response tools for academics and researchers.
