Read 'A Theology of Separation' from Dr. Larry Oats in the latest Maranatha Baptist Theological Journal. http://ow.ly/JSA3Z
Larry Oats1 In the last issue of the Maranatha Baptist Theological Journal I wrote an article on the Theology of Fellowship. This current article is the flipside of the earlier article. A theology of separation needs to be part of a theology of fellowship. This article will be limited to the New Testament. A study [Continue Reading...]

Maranatha Baptist Seminary is happy to announce the release of Keep Your Heart, a daily devotional book consisting of articles written by the students of Maranatha Baptist Seminary students.

Our desire is that you be encouraged as our students share insights and lessons learned while pursuing their graduate degree. Keep Your Heart is a daily invitation for you to meditate on God’s deliverance, His protection, His patience, and His presence as you experience life’s joys and trials.

Purchase a copy for yourself and friends and family; this would make a great present for a teacher, pastor, or other church leaders. From the Maranatha Baptist Theological Journal Volume 4.1: 'A Christian Looks at Law' - http://ow.ly/BnOzL
Michael D. Dean, LLC 1 The various disciplines of theology, psychology, economics, jurisprudence, and so on, have been compartmentalized because modern thinkers have generally jettisoned the historic theological or philosophical assumptions of most western cultures. At a minimum, those cultures at least nominally acceded to a superintending personality (or personalities) and thus concluded personality’s attendant [Continue Reading...]

Is one of your new year's resolutions a commitment to be more effective in your prayer life? An alumnus of Maranatha Baptist Seminary has a solution to help you. It looks interesting to me - check it out.
"There's no magic elixir that I can give you to make you pray more. Many people have come up with great tips on how to pray more. In addition to these helpful tips, our customers at Edify One Another requested us to create some type of software that would help them improve their prayer lives. A few short months later, the Prayer Wiki Reminder Service was born! Three times daily, the service will send you an email, text message, or both, reminding you to pray throughout your busy day. The Prayer Wiki Reminder Service not only encourages you to pray more, but helps to keep you thinking about and depending upon God during the day. As a bonus, you will have access to a members' area that provides articles and devotionals on prayer and other practical living topics. Your small investment in the Prayer Wiki Reminder Service is only 27 cents per day! You will receive reminders 3 times a day for 365 days (one full year), and gain access to the bonus members area for a one-time purchase of $97.00. Give Prayer Wiki Reminder Service a try and improve your prayer life today!" Click here for further information: http://ow.ly/GKnNP

Discerning leadership for critical times
Introduction
The mission of Maranatha Baptist Seminary is to provide seminary education in biblical, theological, and ministry-related areas through several programs which are thoroughly committed to a dispensational, fundamental, and Baptist position and which provide education and development, both academic and practical, for men (and, within the confines of biblical restrictions of local church leadership, women) who are called by God into leadership ministries in Baptist churches as pastors, evangelists, missionaries, and servants in other church-centered ministries.
