copy of my weekly email (minus spread sheet) to secretary at work.
I am very straight and have been so most of my life.  I do have some interest and empathy for people who have gotten in over their heads with drugs, alcohol, and criminal behaiviour.  I lived with a family that had a boy my age who was a 'born again christian'.  He never preached to me, but I learned alot just by his example.  Hopefully, good people can help some of those who are troubled by setting a good example and by letting them know a better way.  I sometimes see troubled people on the bus,  though most are just having financial / decent job problems.  Though I have heard kids talking about heroin use on the bus before.  Thank goodness for small business with decent standards.  Seems some major business is strictly about profits and image.
Just ranting... thanks for being a good person and parent.

have a good week.  rexo

Here's how Jeanne Ludlow, Philadelphia mother of four, answers "marriage experts" who give advice on how to escape the "dull" duties of a housewife BY MICHAEL DRURY Professional bemoaners not only lambaste the American housewife, they also explain sympathetically how she deteriorated into being part drudge, part soap-opera addict—and why, when she goes to a party, she's likely to drink too much. The housewife has been told she has been gri...

I accidently ran over a guys foot on Mass Ave just before the bridge from Boston to Cambridge.  He was trying to cross the street (j-walk), and I was unsure of his near future position.  Just after the thump the guy yelled asshole, and in response I yelled sorry.
This link reminded me of that event.

Every friend I have with a job that involves picking up something heavier than a laptop more than twice a week eventually finds a way to slip something like this into conversation: "Bro,1 you don't work hard. I just worked a 4700-hour week digging a tunnel under Mordor with a screwdriver." ...
