I'm having fun trying to access a Django site via urllib2.

I want to write a script that at some key moments access a url in a Django site after logging to it. The last code that I tried is here: http://pastebin.com/jXGW7UK7

This doesn't work, it breaks with a Http403 error, that I believe is a cfsr failure. What is the problem?. How can I debug it?

How can I produce signed (with a certificate) pdfs using Django?

I have been making some searches but can't find anything that really fits.

I have found this http://www.kryptokoder.com/signwithext.html, but it's closed source and it doesn't exactly inspire confidence. No real name in the webpage, no real location, confusing and short documentation (do I need java to use it?). Does someone here used it?.

StackExchange suggest using iText (a java library to generate pdfs), but it seems overkill (but the above solution seems to be doing just this).

Adobe solutions are too expensive for this project budget.

BTW: Now I'm using reportlab to generate the pdfs.

Martin Wolf on the today ECB decisions:

"""
Before now, I had never really understood how the 1930s could happen. Now I do. All one needs are fragile economies, a rigid monetary regime, intense debate over what must be done, widespread belief that suffering is good, myopic politicians, an inability to co-operate and failure to stay ahead of events.

Flipando.
