Very bright "supermoon" full moon finally showing through the breaking clouds. A coincidence that the scanner is...heating up now?

Introduction
Many newsworthy occurrences are never mentioned by the local media. Baraboo Scanner is a page that provides a forum for people to post and comment on police, fire, and rescue operations in the area, as they happen.
If you choose to post items that you hear on the scanner or have witnessed in person, please DO NOT post people's names or exact addresses of the events or incidents.
This is necessary for the safety of our emergency personnel as well as the privacy of the parties involved.

IMPORTANT: In choosing to listen to a police scanner, you are likely to eventually hear about an incident involving your own friends or family. This is also true of liking Baraboo Scanner on Google+.
By liking my page, you agree that you understand this. You are reading my posts by your own choice. Use discretion!

Posts relaying some of the more interesting items heard on the Sauk/Columbia County police, fire, and rescue scanner frequencies. Not associated with any public entity. Accuracy and completeness not guaranteed.

Baraboo Scanner is in no way associated with any local government or law enforcement agency.  We monitor several police scanners and post all incidents that we believe to be of interest to our fans and the community.

There will be days where we will not turn on the scanners.  There will be many hours in a day where I am asleep or not available.  As such, you should NOT count on Baraboo Scanner to inform you of all incidents that occur in your community.

Reminder: While I don't always use language that would make a preacher happy, we do NOT tolerate the F Bomb here.
Please do not use that word...instead, use your @#$% symbols creatively.
I will delete nearly all posts using this word, and will ban fans that continually use it. I hope you'll understand.
