I'm so impressed by how amazing the new menu is - the new chef is a gem! The paella rivals the best I've had in Spain, and the vegetarian options make it a great spot for mixed crowds (though I honestly didn't miss the meat in the veggie paella). They also serve food til the wee hours, which is not always the easiest thing to find in LA (WHY??). Last time I went, I met friends for happy hour, stayed to see a show, then ate some late night snacks out on the beautiful patio. Highly recommended!!

They host shows, but I came here to eat. The food I got here was exactly OK. Nothing amazing, but nothing that I couldn’t eat. If you are here for a show, you will enjoy the food, if you here for the food, I can’t recommend people to come from far. Good drinks, great decoration, OK food.

Decent spot, saw some short independent films here and it was really fun.

This Silverlake mexican restaurant is more known for the shows they host more so than the food. The food is just ok the meatballs are good, and their pork wings are something different but nothing too impressive. The best part of this venue are the shows. They are well known for hosting their flamenco shows which is pretty entertaining. They also host a variety of web series variety shows where they show a great number of comedic web series which is pretty different. The waiter was funny and interactive, but it seemed like it took a while before our food came out. I would recommend only going if you are going for one of their shows because the food as a standalone isn't worth it.

Not much has changed since the last time I was here. Service is okay depending on the server that you get when you are at El Cid. The prices of food can be expensive so be prepare to spend a good amount of money. I am here for the Sunday night burlesque show Sultry Sweet.

The house paella was so good! Very heavy; enough for 2 people. I don't usually like class and oysters, but the way they cooked it was phenomenal. The flamenco show was fun, especially the audience participation part!!

Came here on a Sunday night with friends. Drinks were good but I ordered the meatballs and they were awful. Service was ok and the atmosphere was nice. It would have been nice to know that wasted 10 bucks on some half balls food worth only 2 bucks to make.

Old Hollywood ambiance, the best hidden patio in Silver Lake, great cocktails, and some of the best local music, flamenco and burlesque in LA. What more could you want? A neighborhood gem!
