This used to be one of my favorite place to eat in town, until they renovated. I ate there today and got some pad thai, it was completely inedible. My noodles were completely drenched in some sort of sweet karo syrup, it was sickeningly sweet. Enough so that I could not take more than 3 bites before I could not eat any more. I do not know what happened to that wonderful family that ran this restaurant last year but they are apparently all gone now and it is run by somebody who bought the name because I could not recognize anybody who worked there. I went to complain and the only person available was the poor girl who worked at the counter who was also the bus-boy and hostess. What the heck happened to this place? This restaurant used to get awards and now I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. Do yourself a favor and avoid.

Decent Pho. They have a great deal on Wednesdays when Pho is only 6 dollars! I usually opt for the chicken pho and add plenty of chili oil. This is a great way to warm your bones during the winter months. Nice staff and the renovated dining room looks quite nice. Cheap, fast and delicious!

Don't let the exterior or surroundings fool you - this place is top notch! Decent price, extremely fast service, free veggie egg rolls, incredibly flavorful soup, and tasty entres.

Welcoming staff and pleasant atmosphere. We ordered two relatively basic dishes - pad thai and vermicelli. Unfortunately the sauce on the pad thai was thick, sweet and sadly disgusting. The vermicelli was acceptable until we reached the shrimp. This was reminiscent of catfish cut-bait mixed with a microwaved lean cuisine. No one at our table was able to stomach more than a bite of either dish. In fact, we spat them out. First time at a restaurant since 1987. Hopefully our first and last experience does not reflect the full gamut of this restaurant.

Used to be my go to place for years when i visit Austin. Just went there and see they remodeled the place. The food quality has changed and not for the best. Unfortunately, although convenient to get to from where i stay, I can no longer support nor recommend them.

The interior is really nice after their redesign. Food is good, but not excellent. I had the sesame chicken, which was fine but nothing special. Admittedly that's a strange choice at a mainly Vietnamese restaurant. I'll return for pho or vermicelli.
