Ok Mr., Miss or Mrs. CMO and all marketers for that matter – be honest here. When was the last time you caught yourself staring into space? Or the time someone asked you to recall a certain piece of information, but you couldn’t put your finger on it? Chances are [...]

The following article is about a supposed, alleged and purported content heist. I used those watered-down terms because I have no proof whatsoever that this person in fact stole my content then presented it as his own.So legally I cannot claim this person stole my content, only that they allegedly, supposedly and purportedly did.I will merely present the facts and let you be the judge and jury. For those who don't know me I have been contributing ...

Plenty of people could be doing a better job of attracting new connections, showing up in searches and selling their professional attributes.

Is Your LinkedIn Profile Vulnerable to Hacking?

If you are a regular listener you already know Ken Herron and I do our best to keep you on top of trends, new tools and applications, and marketing tips – all for the purpose of helping you take advantage of digital technologies and social media to grow your business. Today is no exception, but our hottest topic today is a real life scare one of my friends experienced yesterday when his LinkedIn profile was hacked. Imagine if you lost control of your profile and had no way to let your connections know or even be able to communicate with LinkedIn. Tune in to hear what happened and what you can do to avoid the same problem.

Another hot topic today that has the twitter-sphere abuzz is #BlindingWhite – notice anything different on your profile today? Something’s missing and Twitter is pretty tight-lipped about why. On a positive note, Twitter introduced their new Twitter Safety Center (LinkedIn, are you paying attention?).

Special guest is Ben Towers, CEO and Co-Founder of SocialMarley, the social media companion for small businesses. Hear directly from Ben the vision behind it and reason you may want to jump on board.

Our second guest is Marina Krizman, director of social media for Lone Hotel in Croatia. She will share what it’s like to manage social media networks for a hotel, her approach for content creation and more.

Rounding out the show we’ll tell you about SlideShare’s new lead generation tool. Be sure to tune in at 4 ET on All Business Radio Network. You can follow show highlights on twitter using the hashtag #lilshow, send us your questions or comments in Live Chat or call us on 877-864-4869. Be sure to follow @linkedinlady @kenherron and @AllBusRadio.

"People want what no one else can have."  That was part of an answer I received from Marybeth Jones – VP of Global Marketing Event, NetJets Inc. to a question I posed re: what the future holds for the hospitality industry.  I decided to lead with that quote for it is, while quite [...]

For those who either don't know me or know me but have never met me in person, allow me to provide a highly detailed and very comprehensive physical description of myself: Freakin' Huge. Ok, maybe not huge in the biblical sense but I am 6' 3"/250 pounds. In other words the only surfing someone of my size does is via the world wide interweb. Don't need a board to surf these waves, kids. Thank God. And despite the fact that I fancy myself an avid s...

Story
Tagline
A social media junkie/writer who loves his wife & kids and drinks way too much coffee.
Introduction
My passion, my energy, my drive and my enthusiasm is true, real and undeniable. I don't drink, smoke or use drugs. I don't begrudge anyone who does however... it's just that's not me. The high I get from creating, writing, conceptualizing and destroying a pepperoni pizza is palpable. And no drug, man-made or otherwise could EVER duplicate, replicate or imitate the feeling and sensation that is derived from that.

A great place to have your car serviced. Dave and his team are very thorough and they take care of everything and I know I can trust my car is serviced properly each and every time. Highly recommend for any and all auto service, auto repair needs.

I have purchased several cars from Dave MacConnell, the new owner of, and they have all been fantastic. Not a problem with any one, they run great and Dave also services all my cars, too. Just a great all around car buying experience. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality used car.
