Haarlem Organ Day 12 July
During the Haarlem Organ Day on Saturday 12 July – the upbeat to the festival – short recitals will be given at a number of locations in the historical centre of Haarlem.

Among the concerts on the Haarlem Organ Day are four short recitals by Jos van der Kooy (Philharmonie 11.00 hrs and St Bavo’s 11.45 hrs), Marco bij de Vaate (Doopsgezinde Kerk 12.45 hrs) and Anton Pauw (Nieuwe Kerk13.30 hrs). The route takes us towards the R.C. Cathedral of St Bavo for the afternoon recital by Louis Robilliard at 15.00 hrs and offers time for refreshments on the way.

Visitors can plan their own route, with a mix of organ recitals, the cross-over concerts by ensemble Windstreken in photogalery De Gang, and the Dutch composer Ten Holt’s minimal composition 'Canto Ostinato' as it travels through the streets of the town centre in a performance on harmonium and piano by Dirk Luijmes and the brothers Martijn and Stefan Blaak.

The entire programme can be found on 'Festival programme from day to day' on the website www.organfestival.nl
