An experiment in drones, inspired by the Eraserhead soundtrack, that I plan to use as the intro for a live set I'm working on.  Made from a single crackle of a vinyl record, processed with Metasynth and then again using Valhalla reverb plugins and Sonic Charge's Permut8.

Lots of sub bass in this - listen on good speakers if you can...

Just uploaded a drone piece, inspired by listening to the Eraserhead soundtrack last night.  I decided I wanted to start my next live set by creating an  uncomfortable atmosphere before breaking into the music proper.  Here's the result - all created from a single sample of a record crackling.  Very bassy, definitely needs decent speakers for the bottom end:

Hi everyone - just wanted to mention a night in Newcastle upon Tyne on Friday 14th, where a few of us will be performing with prototypes of instruments we've built over the last few weeks using .NET Gadgeteer Cerberus boards and modules.  Not sure what the others are going to be like, but mine's sounding a bit like '90s rave as imagined by a madman in the year 3000.  Should be fun, if a bit chaotic.

The night's at Morden Tower on Stowell Street.  I hope I'll be able to record and upload at least my own, if not all, of the performances...

Hi everyone! Any members in or around Newcastle upon Tyne?
