This was my most favorite Asian restaurant before they closed. I loved their fried calamari, chicken wings, steam pork and salted fish and they did the best egglant and stir fried green beans every!!! Once they had this tapioca dessert and I still crave it! Please re-open!!! Maybe add some of the dishes from the old Out the Door which was at the lower level of the Westfield Mall.

we ate lunch outside on a beautiful saturday. the spicy soup noodles were the best JiYoung has had in SF (and she's from korea). the ginger soda was tasty as well. i had some pork belly egg foo young dish which was just ok. a little bland for my taste but we'd definitely go back!

I had delicious dumplings (pricey) and noodles (reasonable). However, I was surprised by how bland the ginger chicken was.

Thought this was a nice place for an upbeat night out. The food was all delicious (nothing mind lowing) the atmosphere is cool, and our waitress was great. They serve all of their cocktails in one-of-a-kind vintage glasses which adds to the eclectic atmosphere. I'd definitely go back.

Really disappointing. The Shanghai soup dumplings were horrible and horribly over priced at 13 for 5 dumplings that didn't even have much soup. Everything else was good but bland and the shrimp were tiny and not that fresh(I think they were frozen). This place gets a big Meh.

So I've heard very mixed reviews of Wo Hing General Store. Some of my friends, didn't like it at all. Some of my friends really liked it. I went in with an open mind and came away really loving the food. If you like The Slanted Door and its take on Vietnamese, you will like Wo HIng and its take on Chinese. It's the best Chinese food I've had in San Francisco. In addition, their cocktails are creative, delicious and presented beautifully. I would recommend going for an early dinner or late lunch to avoid the crowd. I think the atmosphere would be too noisy during prime-time hours.

Not since big trouble in little Chinatown has Chinese tasted so authentic.
