Seeing the snowy landscape spread out across the mountains sounds breathtaking, in your conveying it brings it to life. Quiet for now are the roads, the businesses and the farms. Appreciate your company along with a fine glass of wine and a good movie. Ciao my friend.
The wind blew cold last night, colder than it has all season.  This morning my Edenic world lies frozen and quiet; my beautiful Smoky Mountains adorned in powdered wigs worthy of the Crown’s Barristers and set against a ...

Living in Waynesville has some much envied advantages; the sense of community, charity and fellowship, not to mention a simpler lifestyle, reduced incidences of crime and the literal and figurative elbow room.  Don’t get...

You have had plenty of practice ducking, so it must be easy by now. It is easier to avoid things that cause pain then to try and change the situation. Change is never easy and oft fraught with obstacles and perhaps even danger. I appreciate your analogy and comments for this horrid event. And also admire those who along with this knowledge do go on with positive events merely because we do need more positive as it should beget more.....
