Amusing...driving home from Boy Scout camp with another parent, a very nice doctor who knows absolutely NOTHING about tech. He started a conversation with "so, I have this really great idea for an app (it wasn't), how much do you think it would cost me to get it built and published".
I had a very "JP Morgan with his doorman recommending stocks" moment.
I don't understand the sharing dynamics of G+ - I've barely posted anything and over 1K people have added me. Very different from twitter where you seem to need to be active to get followed. Curious as to how people I don't know IRL have found me to follow/add.
Pizza oven coming along - did curing fire #3 of 7 (500 degrees) yesterday. Also got the last of the materials and the door ordered. The guy at the metal place was very enthused about doing a "fancy door" for me. I'm hoping it's not too heavy metal, we'll see today.
MyTracks appears a pretty accurate app on android: mytracks.appspot.com ... good for bike, runs hikes, all the way down to which side of the street. The only drawback is the power draw - I should track down the miniUSB tip for my solio solar power charger
