Ate at Bonefish on a Wednesday evening. Service was excellent and all the dishes we ordered were very good. Food was delivered quickly. Courteous staff ! My husband was not sure about dining there after reading all the negative comments. Glad we decided to try. We would go again!

This place is horrible by Bonefish standards. Incomplete on the menu choices and then brought me a chunk of sirloin and called it a filets. Won't be returning. Place needs a corporate visit from what I can see.

Despite the popularity and price, the service and food were not quite up to par. Firstly, service was extremely slow. Our server was smiling and willing to say "yes" to our every request, but it took him at least 5-10 minutes for each request, even if it was something as small as "please get us a bowl so that we can feed our baby." Secondly, almost all of the silverware sets that we got initially were dirty. It's the typical pieces of food on silverware after they had been through the dishwasher without rinsing. At this level of restaurant this was simply unacceptable. Granted, our server went through each set of silverware when getting us a replacement set, which again took a good 5-10 minutes. When the appetizer arrived, we could not believe our eyes. A white plate with two crab cakes a little bigger than ping pong balls. That's it. Absolutely no decor or presentation at all. We get better presentation than this at an average family restaurant in Japan. Obviously this "higher class" restaurant does not hold the same standard. The kids meal that we ordered for our older daughter was almost inedible. The grilled chicken was over grilled and dry with practically no flavoring. No wonder our daughter refused to eat it. The vegetables were practically raw as if they were just picked off the grocery store counter and plopped onto her plate. And they charge money for this? I could do better - and I don't cook. Steak at Bonefish? Forget it. The meat was as small as the portions that we get in Japan, and the seasoning was nonexistent. It was cooked medium well as I ordered which was probably the only thing good about it, but I don't think it was worth $15. I cooked a better steak on my grill at home. One good thing about this restaurant were the fish dishes. I had a taste of what my wife and parents had. The Tilapia was excellent - very flavorful and cooked at just the right level so that the fish meat was still fluffy. My wife who usually boxes her food ate the whole plate because of how good it was. The Trout Parmigian was also very nice - a different way to serve fish but well devised. Because it was cooked in oil, the flavor did get old after about half of the fish (that was the feedback my dad gave me). Overall my experience at Bonefish was just average. If you don't feel like dropping $100 for 4 adults and 1 child, then go somewhere else. It won't be worth it despite the hype.

Third visit to this restaurant. It was a Monday night at 8:15. 4 in our party. It started out a bit rough as 3 of the entrees we ordered were met with "sorry, we are out of that." We got past that, ordered some drinks and potstickers. The bread, drinks and potstickers were excellent. After we finished those, there seemed to be a rather long pause in service and food. Just about the time I was thinking they had forgotten about us, the entrees arrived...all but one. The server that brought the entrees explained that there was a mixup in the kitchen with the ahi tuna and they were fixing it. Time went by and no one else approached the table. No waiter. No manager. The rest of us were nearly done with our meals when the ahi tuna finally arrived....barely seared, cold in the middle. My niece, who is not new to seared tuna, could not appreciate the raw cold tuna and reluctantly requested a properly seared piece of tuna. The waiter returned a few minutes later with the same tuna that had been thrown back on the grill. Some pieces were now well done and a couple were still raw. Usually seared tuna is rare in the middle, but at least room temp, not cold. Anyway, I told the waiter I did not want her to pay for her late, unsatisfactory meal and that I wanted to talk with the manager on duty. Several minutes later, he returned with the bill. I said, "where is the manager?" He said, "oh, he took the meal off your bill." "So, he didn't want to talk with us?", I asked. "Please tell him I would like to speak with him." Andrew did eventually come to our table and explained that he was busy in the kitchen because they were short one person. Hmmm....it was 9:00 and there was almost no one left in the restaurant. He was not very concerned and did not make any effort to make us want to return to Bonefish. So, we never will.

OMG, I have never been to this place and by reading the reviews it sounds like a disaster. Sad thing is, I have a $50 gift card for the Bonefish Grill that I either have to give as a gift to a cranky relative or clinch my cheeks and go see for myself. My wife wants to go. YIKES! OK, I'll take her. I'll let you all know my experience. I"ll Be Back.

the butter exploded in my face burning half of my face and my eye... their customer service was "are you OK" then left... don't go here unless you want to lose part of your eyesight and pay way too much money for food that isn't very good.. they're lucky I don't sue them

Don't go here if you like well done steaks,me and my wife both ordered surf n turf. They cooked the steaks two times before the steaks were well done(tough by that time). We waited an hour and a half total time before we complained. Go to red lobster.....better service.
