Geometry is supposed to be visual. Adding animation is a natural progression.

I've stared at this more than I should have.

I'd say he's one of the most qualified people in history to make this judgement. I completely agree.

Sir Richard Francis Burton (1821-1890) was a famed British explorer, writer, polygot, translator, diplomat, and spy. He traveled extensively throughout Asia, Africa, and the Americas, often taking part in perilous adventures along the way. Among Burton's most well-known qualities was his extensive knowledge of languages and cultures. It is said that he was fluent in as many as 25 languages ranging from English, French, and Greek to Urdu, Icelandic, and Swahili. That number rises to 40 if you count distinct dialects.

Ouch

I think it was Jay Leno who insisted that Hurricanes were named after the reporters who were lost in the previous storm. Have not heard of Hurricane Holly so I think this reporter made it out ok.

Neil Armstrong was a nerd!

A nerd with something to hope for. He is also proof that being a nerd can leave its imprint  #Optimistic4OurFuture

Story
Introduction
I was Born in 1969 in Saskatoon SK, Canada. I went to Holy Cross High School, where I enjoyed sports, music & art. My academic performance allowed me to attend the University of Saskatchewan upon my graduation in 1987. I studied engineering, pre-architecture & physics until 1990.

I spent the next 7 years pursuing a career as a musician. I played in several groups with the most notable being Saskatoon based 'Educated Guess' & Vancouver based 'Hollow Earth'. During this time I supplemented my meager artist's income as a short order cook, chef's assistant & retail salesman.

At 27 I decided that I could give more to the world by using other talents than just my musical abilities. I took a 2 year college diploma course in engineering design in Saskatoon. I graduated in the class of 2000 with distinction, at the top of my class.

In the fall of 2000 I moved to Edmonton AB, Canada to pursue my career in engineering design. I've been working & living in this area ever since.

In 2002 I reconnected with my wife. We dated for 2 years in the early '90s & clearly there were still feelings between us. She & her daughter joined me in Edmonton in the fall of 2002.

Our son was born in the summer of 2003. We were married (in Saskatoon) in the summer of 2004.

In October of 2005 our first daughter was born. She had some rare congenital birth defects and lived until the end of January 2006. She rests in South Edmonton, near the home where she spent her short life.

Our 2nd daughter was born in 2009.
