Aikido Demo (2001) DU Asian Day

Kiryu Aikido is excited to announce new class hours for 2016 at Lone Tree Rec Center. Our new schedule is:
* Tuesdays: 7:45 - 9:30 pm
* Fridays: 6:30 - 8:30 pm
The new year is still young! We are always happy to have new students come to the dojo and get started learning this great
martial art. All levels (complete beginner to advanced) and backgrounds are welcome. Bring along a friend and experience
the benefits of Aikido practice!

Happy New Year!
Today Kiryu Aikido celebrates Keiko Hajime, the first class of the year, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
We welcome back current students and extend a warm welcome to new students.
New students are always welcome to try a class and can join the dojo at any time. Simply stop by and begin.
Our regular class schedule is Sundays from 2:00-4:00 pm and Fridays from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Lone Tree Rec Center, just west of I-
25 off Ridgegate Parkway exit.
Come check out the wonderful martial art of Aikido and experience the great things that can result from the practice!

Kiryu Aikido recently had four students test for their next ranks, from Yonkyu to Nikyu. Congratulations to Greg-san, John-san, Katie-san, and Dave-san on your strong tests. Read more at the dojo blog:

Our dojo blog, The Bamboo Grove http://aikiblog.kappazone.com/ has two posts recapping the recent trip to Japan. One is our experience of participating in the 53rd All Japan Aikido Demonstration, and the other (which appears first on the page, and is long) covers the rest of the trip, sightseeing, and experiences.

We had a wonderfully fun Intro to Aikido workshop on June 28, 2014.
Six new people on the mat experiencing a bit of what Kiryu Aikido is all about. Thanks to everyone who participated!
