Fill all your senses at Ford's Filling Station - LA's first and finest Gastropub - where the atmosphere is relaxed yet often bustling.

Comfortable seating areas with warm walnut surfaces and Asian rugs create a charming intimacy amidst an informal setting. The patios are intimate, for private parties, and offer a soothing contrast to our energetic main room, which features wood-beamed ceilings, brick, polished concrete floors and an open kitchen. Machine-age lamps accent the wooden bar while large celestial chandeliers create a ceiling of soft light.

Our dedication to craft is evident in the American Regional Menu, which is rustic, simple and innovative, yet familiar. The seasonal menu emphasizes flavor in exciting, uncomplicated combinations and in keeping with Chef Ford's earthy palate.

Established in 2006

In 2006, Ford's Filling Station opened their doors in Culver City, aiming for a similar combination of a comfortable pub-like attitude that serves exciting, seasonal food. We came with the intention of creating a concept for the people of the community. Ford's Filling Station is designed to be casual, open and familiar, the room is full of artifacts from Chef Ben's life, his books are on the shelves, and his music plays on the stereo. It's a soulful space, a place of substance to come and revive the senses and refuel the mind, body and sprit. The "Filling Station" metaphor and our slogan "Fuel No Gas" are representative of a place to come to fill up on all the good things in life.

wow, if i'd only known as a student at ucla in the 70's when i lived in this awful suburb called culver city that i was in the new millennium hot spot. ford's is small and overcrowded with people intent on experiencing the new hot thing. the buzz can be fun for a couple of minutes, then it's just headache inducing. the food was fine, but not the clever new twist on american standards that i had read about. best of all was the service--intent on making the best evening for us they could, while retaining a sense of humor about the sheer mass of humanity circling around the front door.

A great gastropub for a good gourmet burger and a glass of quality wine. Also not bad for lunch when you're working on the Sony lot and someone else is treating. :)

One of my favorite places in all of LA. It's pricey, so I only go for special occasions, but I haven't been disappointed a single time!

Terribly slow but friendly service, emphasis on the slow. Great onion rings though

Well though out high-end food with a southern twist. Little bit more than I would ever pay myself - good thing I wasn't carrying the check!

i love to take people there mid-afternoon for charcuterie/cheese and wine. an added plus is that it is less rushed and noisy at that time.
