Join us this Sunday--February 25th--at 10:30 AM--for Lesson #2 in 1 & 2 PETER entitled “The Majesty Of Election” (1 Peter 1:1-2)

The opening salvo in 1 Peter 1:1-2 isn’t difficult to understand by most. But it has proven over the centuries to be very difficult to accept by some. And that is because in his opening remarks Peter touches on two of the most controversial doctrines in Christendom—the doctrine of election and the doctrine of obedience. But why would Peter open up his first letter to a church already in chaos with such controversial verbiage? Join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM for Lesson #2 in our series 1 & 2 PETER.

Join us this Sunday--February 18th--at 10:30 AM--for Lesson #1 in 1 & 2 PETER entitled “Intro: Hardship & Heretics” (Selected Scriptures)

Have you considered the possible hardships that comes with wearing the badge of Christ in a world that wants nothing to do with him? How exactly is the church supposed to handle heretics who arise within our ranks? The cost that comes with making the life-decision to follow Jesus Christ—that is the cost of hardship, reputation, sacrifice, and the future—is a subtle theme throughout the writings of Peter. But even more, how to handle these hardships, as well as the heretics who contribute to them, is Peter's primary focus in 1 & 2 PETER. Join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM for Lesson #1 in our series 1 & 2 PETER.

Join us this Sunday--February 4th--at 10:30 AM--for Lesson #5 in THE ARMOR OF GOD entitled “The Helmet Of Salvation” (Ephesians 6:10-18).

There are few things more dangerous to the powers of darkness than a Christian who has the joy of their salvation. The enemy knows that a Christian who has such joy and confidence is a Christian who cannot be rattled on the battlefield. Maintaining the joy of salvation is so important to believers, in fact, that Paul includes it on the list of armor that is essential for effective Christian soldiering. Referred to as the Helmet of Salvation, it is specifically meant to protect believers from doubting their identity in Christ and instill in them an unshakable confidence. Join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM for Lesson #5 in our series THE ARMOR OF GOD.

Join us this Sunday--January 28th--at 10:30 AM--for Lesson #4 in THE ARMOR OF GOD entitled “The Shield Of Faith” (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Satan’s attacks can sometimes cause believers to doubt God and question His Word. But faith prompts us to believe God, and to trust in Him even when the circumstances deem it illogical or foolish to do so. When Satan attempts to sidetrack us with doubt and skepticism, faith recognizes the deceptiveness of his tactics and quickly steers us back on track. When Satan accuses us, faith exonerates us. It is faith, then, that is our protective barrier from the scheming arrows of Satan. In a word, when we take up the shield of faith we become conquerors in Christ. Join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM for Lesson #4 in our series THE ARMOR OF GOD
