Went for a brunch to see my wife performing. Looked at the menu, and would rather easy Mcdonald (which I've never had). Order one drink. Before the end of the show the waitress came and informed me that it's minimum two items. I ended up paying over $30 for one drink, and $6 for parking. BS!

I'll keep this short: I emailed them about having a birthday gathering there (about 20 people) and set the day/filled out paperwork via email/fax. On the day of my birthday, they were amazing and easy going. I had such a good time and they provided an amazing environment. I and all of my guests were very satisfied! Drinks are very affordable (even bottles). I WILL return to try their food and shows! Thanks guys!! ( Nick you were a great bartender! thank you!)

The outdoor Patio is absolutely beautiful! Also, the Happy Hour prices are right on the $$$$. A great place to enjoy an outdoor brunch in Silver Lake.

This is a nice looking place and is good to go for drinks. The only thing I would recommend is choose you night wisely-- Saturdays have top 40 type of music so it's a pretty good vibe, Friday it is more on an Indie/ artsy crowd so if you arent into that I dont recommend Fridays.

Rockwell is amazing! The food is delicious. The drinks are even better. They use ginger beer in their whiskey gingers, so you know they're good. The talent that they pull in is the most impressive thing about the place. Going to see the Baz Luhrman show may have been the best decision I have ever made. It is definitely worth it to spring for a more expensive seat. There is so much magic going on around you, the last thing you want is your view blocked by a beam.

I've been to the Rockwell twice. Despite the signage for the patio, the stage and whatever else is going on, it's still woefully frustrating to navigate your way through the establishment. I went on a Saturday night to see a friend's show in the stage area. A two-drink minimum was required -- which is frustrating regardless as to where you are. I ordered a double to meet that hateful requirement and for the $16.35 they charged me (tax included) for the WELL cranberry vodka, it was quite lacking in size and hardly worth a ten spot let alone the nearly $20 including tip. Also be careful for anything about a happy hour -- which ends at 8 despite a prominent sign in the main entrance still touting it when I walked in at 940. Perhaps it didn't apply to the stage area, which is also ridiculous and frustrating, but it shouldn't be placed in main entrance if it doesn't apply to the entire establishment. I don't care that this is Los Angeles. I don't care that the establishment calls itself chic. I don't care that it's located in a hip area such as Los Feliz. I can go elsewhere for cheaper, stronger, more substantial cocktails. And I will do so from now on. Or next time I'll just have WATER to fulfill the drink minimum.

The burgers at Rockwell make you feel like you have died and gone to heaven. Sweet potato fries and truffle fries are similarly excellent. Love their open-air lunch atmosphere under the big friendly tree. Have been there about five or six times, one time the food was a dud but all others were ecstasy.
