TxDOT will begin constructing its first-ever "Dutch Junction" protected intersections -- in a project designed and spearheaded by The Energy Corridor District -- this November. Part of The District's master plan vision to create safer places to walk and bike, the project will transform three busy intersections along IH-10, while upgrading another three intersections. http://bit.ly/2dPSwAJ

One America's most successful music impresarios and a driving force behind ZZ Top, Bill Ham, passed in June. Parking for Sunday Streets HTX Oct. 2 is available at Eldridge Oaks garage (Enclave & Eldridge); Brimhurst KinderCare, West Briar Middle School, Barbara Bush Elementary School; Chase Bank, Kroger, Chik-fil-A, LA Fitness (Eldridge & Briar Forest); Five Star Montessori and Texas Vein & Cosmetic Specialists. Or park at Terry Hershey Park and bike the trail to Eldridge Pwky.
