Palak Channa Biryani / Spinach Chickpea Biryani is just another variation of the regular veg biryani. Delicious rice recipe that goes well with raitha. Perfect for lunch box. A Healthy recipe with all the goodness of Palak and Black Chickpeas into it. Palak and Butter always taste great together. So substituted butter for ghee in this biryani and it tasted great. I am sure this is a healthier choice for fussy kids. This is a perfect lunchbox recipe.

Anchovies Stir Fry / Nethili Meen Varuval is one of my Childhood favourite. Here in my place these fishes are'nt available all round the year. This is somehow seasonal. Now in september these fishes are in season. Anchovies are the tiniest fishes and fries in very less time. They are tiny in size but provides essential fatty acids, protein and many other nutrients. In addition to protein anchovies are rich in calcium and iron too.

Paneer Poppers are a delicacy and a great appetiser. It is a mouthwatering delicacy. My little girl makes sure she orders this first whenever we eat out in a restaurant. There are even times we have gone to restaurants specifically to eat these poppers. Almost every Friday evenings were becoming popper Fridays. That is when i decided to make it at home. This can also be easily made at home. The time required is very less. Even it is very easy for beginners.

Peanut Kheer / Verkadalai Payasam is another yummy and creamy payasam. It can be prepard under 30 minutes. Moong dal is cooked and Combined with roasted and ground peanuts. Jaggery is added as the sweetner. Finally garnished with ghee roasted nuts and raisins. This is life saver when we have sudden guest and when we have larger number of guests. The steps are easy and can be prepared happily without much effort. Finally todays "Protein Rich ingredient" is going to be peanut.

I always feel sprouts and veggies must be a regular part of our diet. Capsicum Green Gram sprouts pulao is one such recipe that has colorful veggies with mild spices. This is one way i can easily make my little girl eat sprouts. The sprouts pulao is a best fit for a lunch box recipe. Sprouting green gram is very easy. Soak green gram in water overnight. In the morning drain and pack them in a muslin cloth or a hot box. These sprouts can be found in grocery stores too.

Drumstick Leaves Cashew Pakoda / Murungai Keerai Pakoda is a crunchy and nutritious snack. Drumstick Leaves are loaded with nutrients and they are making the pakoda nutrition rich. Cashews are added for the extra crunch and they are no less in nutrition. Drumstick leaves sometimes have a bitter taste and that is why it needs a supporting ingredient like cashew. Even grated coconut can be added instead of cashews.

Cauliflower Carrot Soup is a humble and healthy option to add in the dose of veggies into diet. Mom used to prepare this for me and my sibilings when we were kids. I almost forgot about this recipe. Now due to rain the climate is chill and i got sour throat. Wanted something soothing. That is when this soup flashed in my mind. Apt for the BM "Protein rich recipe too". There are multiple variations of veggies that can be added. I have used carrot and cauliflower. I used butter for this recipe.

This Version of Apple Dates Milkshake is the one that i follow always to make my little girl drink a cup of milk. Thank God she simply loves this Apple Milkshake. I have added dates as a sweetner. This shake is her after school snack most of the days. Else she would not take either milk or dates in her diet. Its filling and instant energy booster too. Nungu Rose Milk and Almond gum Rose Milk are some of the other rose milk recipes available in this space.

Orange Paneer Kheer / Orange Paneer Payasam is a delicious payasam that can be made with the easily available ingredients. I simply loved the payasam. I am sure anyone would surely fall in love with it so as i am. Orange and Milk sometimes sounds like they dont go well with each other. But trust me this payasam was simply super delicious. It was creamy and a citrus blast. Todays "Protein Rich" ingredient is going to be paneer.
