It took me a while to find it, but I finally found a Google help page that tells me how to see everything that I've +1ed within the Google+ streams(s) , as opposed to out on the web.

The interface is weird, but at least it exists.

This is interesting. Steve Gibson recently recommended this on "Security Now".

seriously secure mobile messaging

Please consider using Threema, a swiss-made app which allows secure strongly encrypted mobile messaging. For iOS and Android.

Lately, any time I want to share a photo in a post and I try to turn off location sharing for that photo or (group of photos) it refuses to turn it off, and the message "Failed to change the location visibility for this album." pops up.

If I can't find a way to fix or work around this, I'm just going to turn G+ auto photo uploading back off, and I'll go back to just uploading per item with Dropbox.  At least with that method, I can strip the location metadata before Google ever gets ahold of it.

Electromechanical Arcade Machines

Whilst I don't remember this exact machine, I do remember playing something very similar as a kid back in the mid 70s in the UK. There's something magical to me about the electro-mechanical coin ops of that era. Pushing the boundaries of what could be achieved with acetate, light bulbs and electric motors. Pure genius.

This is great.  Hopefully it stays updated.  Google's services are very much a moving target these days!

Does anyone know definitively (as in first-hand experience) whether you can use Paypal as a payment method in the Apple app store in the US?  I've seen articles and posts which say that you can, but they don't give much in the way of specifics, and it's definitely not showing up for me in the payment change options on the Apple web site. #apple #ios

I've run into this on my latest Pi too.
Take a look at the original post to see my comments...

RPI SD card reader issue.
I have a new RPI and aquired it together with an SD card with noobs.
The problem is the RPI does not boot as SD card is not present.
Formated it and the problem persisted.
So I used a different card and it worked.
The funny thing is that I noticed the new card is not as thick as the working card so an idea pop up from my head. 'What if i use some scotch tape to make the first card a little more thick?'
Guess what, it worked!
so I believe that most of SD cards problems are caused because its too thin and the reader pins do not reach the SD card contacts.
A scotch tape may fix it.
RPI sellers should not sell thin SD cards as it might not work or RPI should be produced with a better reader.
