Here are a couple of pictures from Sandstone Bluffs Overlook. It's just a few miles south of I40 on NM 117. The view is well worth the small detour off the Interstate.

Took the Jeep out to Lava Falls, this was a place we had never seen before. The trail head is about a mile off the highway. There is a loop trail to see the area, it's about one mile long. It's not your normal trail, you have to jump and climb over the lava, looking for little piles of rocks.

Number 534 of 1001 Diamond Life - Sade

Diamond Life is the first album by Sade, it was released in 1984. I've always been a sucker for romantic love songs delivered by female vocalist using smooth jazz.

Number 533 of 1001 Run DMC - Run DMC

Run–D.M.C. is the first album of Run–D.M.C., it was released in 1984. This album is considered to have changed rap, because of it's harder, more aggressive sound. I've never been a fan of rap and this album didn't change anything.

Number 532 of 1001 Welcome to the Pleasuredome - Frankie Goes to Hollywood

Welcome to the Pleasuredome is the first album by Frankie Goes to Hollywood, it was released in 1984. Trevor Horn's production is the star of this album. It's noted the Horn even replaced the bands playing with session musicians. This is an energetic well crafted synthpop album that shows what a talented producer can do.

Number 531 of 1001 Colour by Numbers - Culture Club

Colour by Numbers is the second album by Culture Club, it was released in 1983. On this album Boy George delivers several soulful ballads that made this one of the best selling albums of the 80's. This is a very strong album that often gets overlooked, well worth a spin.
