We are a two Toyota family - my wife drives a 2006 Rav 4 and I had been driving a 2005 Sienna. Some months ago we took the Sienna in for regular servicing, and while we were there Mr. Michael Fox met us. He told us what his position is and asked us about trading in the van for an up-grade. At the time we were not interested, but a few weeks later we rethought our needs and decided to go back and talk to Mr. Fox. He was most solicitous, laying out all the possibilities and details of replacing the van with a leased 2016 model. We agreed on terms, and a few days later we picked up our new car. Again, Mr. Fox was most helpful in demonstrating for us a number of the new car's bells and whistles so that we could start driving it comfortably. Many, many thanks!.

I cannot say enough good things about this dealership! This is the forth car my family has purchased from Penn Toyota. I recommend them to everyone I know who is shopping for a new car. As an attorney who at one time represented car dealers, I have first hand knowledge of some of the unsavory high pressure sales techniques employed by some dealers to move the metal! Penn Toyota is a breath of fresh air. My wife and I dealt with Chris Penn, the owner, Phil Rodriguez, the Sales Manager and Todd Coopersmith, the salesman. Despite more than one test drive (its not easy determining if a car is 'the right fit' for you) and many many questions (did I say we asked a lot of questions?) there was no pressure to consummate a deal, we were not pushed aside so they could concentrate on an 'easier' customer to sell. We made the deal when we were ready and Chris, Phil and Todd were there to assist us every step of the way. We got a fair deal and have absolutely no regrets. Toyota is a great car and there are plenty of Toyota dealers to choose from and there are at least 3 dealerships between my home and Penn Toyota. Penn was worth the drive.

Leased 2016 Rav 4 Hybrid from Penn Toyota and everything about the process went smoothly and staff was vey helpful. Friendly and accommodating staff, hassle free deal, straight forward approach - one of the best dealership experience I had. Right from the beginning with my online enquiry, Penn staff were on top of their game, and easily made me choose them over nearby dealerships as they clearly understood what me as a customer wanted. Process was fast and efficient and I am very happy with my lease. Keep up the great job Penn Pals.

Good service department and excellent waiting area but after getting my coolant flushed, my front bumper cover has a little gap. Will update to 5 stars if they take care of that in my next visit.

Just to clarify, this review is based solely for the SERVICE DEPARTMENT. My family and I have bought a total of 4 Rav4's from Penn with no issues. I dropped my Lexus (yes, it's a Lexus and I normally would service it at my usual dealership in NJ but I needed a NY inspection done so figured they could also take care of my rear brakes which I knew needed replacement, and in the end, Lexus uses all Toyota parts, except at my Lexus dealership they don't treat you like an clueless child or speak down to you.) So I receive a call from Lori (Laurie?). She tells me I need brake service and new rotors and a drive belt. RED FLAG - any time a dealership tells you to get new rotors be weary. But since I haven't changed my brakes since I bought the car, I would say it's possible that was the case and I was willing to get pads and new rotors and all it a day. Except, I tried to tell Lori that, I only need brake pads not full brake service and that I had a promo email they sent me for $170 for the pads. She tells me, no, I can't get pads because then my car will vibrate and shake when I brake. I would need to get the pads and the brake service to shave the rotors and clean the rotors (what kind of cleaning I'm not sure but perhaps the brake fluid could be flushed and replaced.) Long story short she was trying to tell me I absolutely needed brake service at a cost of $413 normally but "discounted" to me for $350 and I'd have to get rotors for $239. I completely objected. After trying repeatedly to explain to her, while having her speak down to me, I asked to speak to a service technician or a manager. Keep in mind I've changed my own oil and changed my own brakes when I was a broke college student so I do have some knowledge of cars and repairs and maintenance. Finally after realizing that she was trying to upsell the wrong person she agreed with new rotors that all I needed was new pads installed not the complete brake service. Now I was left with a taste of distrust. She tells me the drive belt is $65, the pad $170 and rotors $239 on top of my inspection. At that point I was livid. I could not believe she had the audacity to speak to me in such a disrespectful way and when she realized I knew more and could not be fooled she tried to play other selling games and skirts the issue. She even at one point tries to say even if you get new rotors and new pads installed that since I won't do the brake service once I drive off the lot if my car shakes and vibrates when braking they would not be responsible. SMH. So I kindly asked to speak to her manager or her superior. She tells me no one is available. She puts me on hold then puts Dominick (Domenic?) on the phone. I kindly asked who he was and knew he could not help me because he was not of a higher authority. He told me Lionel (Leonel?) would call me back Monday to address my concerns. (Dominic calls me back a few hours later but again more distrust due to completely different pricing and now an additional needed "repair/maintenance.") My advice, if you need to use them for service, get a second opinion before handing over all your hard earned money because they might be telling you need more than you really need and scamming you.

We recently bought a 2016 Highlander from here. The salesman Shaun Banks, really helped us make a great decision and assisted us with any problems we had. Shaun has great people skills and was honest with us, he made our experience at Penn Toyota a very interactive one. I highly recommend Shaun Banks as the salesman.

I could write a book about the years of great experiences at Penn Toyota. We just purchased our 7th car from the dealership and again smooth sailing from beginning to end. Chris Penn is an absolute gentleman and a consimate professional, he orchestrated yet another great buying experience for me and my family. James Clemmons who was and has been our go to salesman (really like an old friend at this point) for many years helped me over the course of weeks to figure out which vehicle would be the right one for me. Some people can buy a home faster than I can choose a car, but not for one minute did I ever feel rushed into a decision. I wound up buying a 2016 Toyota Prius Four Touring with all the bells and whistles. I wasn't really sure if I would be able to swing that model but Chris and James made it happen. The car really is amazing, I feel like I'm "driving the future". The comfort, the ease of seeing all the displays and alerts, the JBL sound system is so crisp. It's just a great time being behind the wheel. The room in the cabin is more than most would think, my family of four fits very comfortably with room to spare. The seats are extremely comfortable and supportive, like being held in a glove. On another note we also purchased a 2015 Highlander last year from Chris and James, and again, just a great vehicle. Have quite a few friends who traded their larger gas guzzling Tahoe and Yukon SUV's for the Highlander and still thank me till this day. I'm not one to write reviews, but when you receive the assistance, professionalism and constant positive experiences that my family and friends have over the years, it is well deserved and easily written. Could not possibly recommend Penn Toyota enough. NO PRESSURE, just a great experience............ Thanks again Chris and James
