You said "perfectly calamitous event", and all I heard was "Guild of Calamitous Intent".

This is your best episode, if for no other reason than that you referenced The Hudsucker Proxy.

So much has changed.  Felicia is now the quieter of the two, and Ryan skips the backstory.   #evolution

If you're digging on this, you should check out Subsume by Cloudkicker.  Hey Anthony, you should review that record, too.

So are you criticizing ASMR videos? It strikes me as off topic in that those videos are focused on the sound things make and not the thrill of exposing an object.  However odd the videos may be to someone not experiencing ASMR, throwing jabs at them seems juvenile.  I'd expect Idea Channel to do a video on them instead.  Regardless, This American Life did a great story on it in their episode 'Tribes': http://www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/491/tribes

+PBS Idea Channel I see, thanks for the direct response!  I'd be interested in hearing more about how these kinds of videos are linked.  Foreshadowing of a future episode?

I have.  I am also interested in what Anthony's thoughts are about the band and their approach to metal, especially since their previous releases haven't been given attention on his channel.  He asks his audience what he should review next, I obliged his request.  Cool your presupposing jets, my friend.  I hope you enjoy your day.

To be fair, mailing a package here is not a problem, the pickup system is a complete disaster, though. Painfully long lines, one person running pickups and almost no knowledge of where anything is from the staff to the manager. Today I waited 15 minutes in line and 20 minutes at the window just to be told "I don't know where we put Registered Mail" by the branch manager. Avoid if possible.
