We have our Snow Ball coming up on the 8th December which will be perfect for your staff Christmas party.
It’s going to be an absolutely incredible night with a three-course meal, live entertainment and there may even be a chance to dance. It’s being held at one of the city’s newest and most exclusive venues, the Garden of Eden, 60 Victoria St, Liverpool.
All profits from the ball go to helping people with neurological conditions. So you can feel good about where your money’s going even if you don’t feel good the next day.

A week on and we're still reeling from how incredibly proud we are of our volunteers for getting the Queen’s Award. It's the highest volunteering award there is!

We are gratified but unsurprised that our volunteers have won something so prestigious. It would be impossible for us to be able to do the great work that we do without them. Oh, we're just so proud, proud, proud!

We would love for you to come to The Brain Charity to meet them and if we like you, we may even let you hold the award.

Office space available in Liverpool 3

The Brain Charity has offices to let, in central Liverpool, just minutes away from Lime Street Station – an ideal location for numerous types of organisations.

Comprising of two rooms, one 23.5sq.m and the other 31.0sq.m, this space can easily hold up to 12 people. The rooms are quite versatile and could also be used to run activities or therapeutic sessions. There is also some car parking space to rent, which considering how close it is to the city centre is like gold dust. You don’t want to miss out as it is very reasonably priced for its location and size.

The centre also has its very own café and is only a short walk away from shops were you can pick up supplies if needed. There are facilities for members of staff to self-cater if they prefer.

Our current tenant, in another office, says this about The Brain Charity office space:
“Our stakeholders are always impressed when they visit our office base at The Brain Charity. I’d recommend The Brain Charity for anyone looking to rent office space at the centre of Liverpool. The space is flexible and additional rooms can be hired as and when required.” Sarah Budgens, Shaw Trust

To find out more contact Carolyn Garlick: 0151 298 2999

The Brain Charity is an organisation that provides national support for people with neurological conditions and their family & friends. The money from office rental goes towards helping the community The Brain Charity have built.

SPORTSMAN'S DINNER - SATURDAY 20TH MAY 2017

The Brain Charity has teamed up with Liverpool legend Alan Kennedy to put on a top-flight evening of entertainment for our first ever Sportsman’s Dinner. Alan will be sharing some of his favourite stories and anecdotes from his days at LFC. We all know Alan as the great attacking full-back who had a knack of scoring vital goals that helped the Reds clinch silverware. We can’t wait to hear his tales!

As well as hearing from Alan, the evening will include a superb 2-course dinner, fantastic comedy from home-grown Liverpudlian comedian Frankie Allen, and fabulous compering from Roger ‘The Wingwalker’ Devonside. There will also be the chance to win some unique and exclusive sporting prizes and signed memorabilia in our raffle.

The Brain Charity’s Sportsman’s Dinner will take place at Liverpool Cricket Ground in Aigburth on Saturday 20th May 2017. Tickets are just £30. The dress code is smart but not too formal. Tell your friends, family, and all the sports fans you know!

To book your spot, please call our reception on: 0151 298 2999, or visit our website shop: www.thebraincharity.org.uk/shop

HEAD MATTERS 2017 - A TREAT FOR THE SENSES

Brain Awareness Week is an international campaign to share what's new in brain research. So from 13th-19th March this year The Brain Charity will be joining with others around the world to let our communities know about all things brain-related as well as how we can help them or a loved one.

The highlight of the week will be our Head Matters Tea Party on Wednesday 15th March, from 11am-4pm, at our base on Norton Street. This year's party has a theme: 'The Senses', so there will be plenty going on to excite our senses of taste, touch, sight, smell and hearing – the five sources that our brains use to understand the world.

As well as giving you the chance to tickle your senses, lots of groups covering a wide range of neurological conditions will be on hand to answer your questions and provide advice. We will also have a series of talks by leading doctors and brain science researchers taking place through the day - details will be announced on our website and social media channels soon.

Of course, it wouldn't be a tea party without tea! We’ll also be offering the chance to freely sample our unique new range of teas, each of which have been hand blended by local company Lady Liver Teas with a health benefit in mind. So come and relax, meet other people who understand what you're going through and make new friends with a chat over a nice cuppa. We hope you will all be able to find some time to drop in and see what’s happening during the day.

Finally, here's a heads up: We will be celebrating the brain with our ever-popular funny hat competition on the day. Perhaps you could make your own special hat to dazzle the judges and win a prize this year?
