www.okeechobeejust4bass.com | (910) 330 9821 | Bass Fishing Report

The past couple of weeks on Lake Okeechobee, the winds have been light and the water temp is in the high 80's. The water clarity on the North and East side side of the lake is decent lately but the West end is still a little murky.

Lately, I have been fishing the south end of the lake. The morning bite has been out on the reef in the middle of the lake. I have been fishing Spinnerbaits and Swimjigs in the Kissimmee grass, but this bite only lasts to about 07:30 AM, then we go Flipping/Pitching the rest of the day.

The Bass are spread out right now, but biting. Good areas to fish are The Cross, Uncle Joe's and the Shoal. Here is a picture of some of the fish I caught this week.

FISHING CHARTERS | LAKE OKEECHOBEE | 910-330-9821

This week on Lake Okeechobee The winds have been from the South East 5-10 most of the week, and the water temp is still in the low 80's.

The water clarity on the North and East sides of the lake looks good, but the West end of the lake is a little murky with all the South east wind.

This week, the best bait was a Spinnerbait and a White Swim Jig. When the morning bite shuts down, Flip and Pitch the outside Kissimmee area.  With the lower water, the Bass are mainly on the outside edge. Good Baits for this is a Black/Blue jig and a good old, trusty Senko. Good areas to Bass Fish on Lake Okeechobee are J&S, Kings Bar, 3rd Point and the Lakeport area of the Lake.

www.okeechobeejust4bass.com | (910) 330 9821 | Bass Fishing Report: May 1st - May 9th, 2015

This week on Lake Okeechobee, the weather has been stable and the winds have from all directions. The water temp is in the low 80's. The water clarity on the East side of the lake is still muddy and on the North end it is good and the West end of the lake it is fair.

The best bait in the morning is still a White Spinnerbait in the Kissimmee grass and a White Swim Jig in the same area the shad spawn is still going on in the Kissimmee grass.

When the morning bite is over, move inside the grass line and flip the Pencil Reeds with a Jig or a Senko. Good areas to catch Bass are Kings Bar, 3rd point, J&S and the Lakeport area of the lake. Here is a picture of my buddy Brock with a couple of fish we caught this week.

www.okeechobeejust4bass.com (910) 330 9821 | Weekly Bass Fishing Report |Mar 13th - April 30th, 2015

The last couple of weeks here on Lake Okeechobee the weather has been very stable and we've been getting a lot of rain. The water temp range has been 75-82 degrees.

The Water clarity on the East side of the Lake is muddy (but there are some better fish there) on the north end it is good and the west end of the lake has cleaned up a lot. The best Bite right now is with a Swim Jig (white) with a trailer . the Spinnerbait bite is pretty good too (white) has been the best for me.

What is going on the lake now is the shad are spawning in the Kissimmee grass after the morning bit is over move inside to the Pencil Reeds and flip them with a Gambler Fat Ace or a Burner worm with a lite weight, also a Gambler Jigzilla has been catching Bass, too.

Good bass fishing areas are J&S, 3rd Point, Kings Bar and the Lakeport area on Lake Okeechobee. Here is a picture of a couple of fish that I caught this week.

OKEECHOBEE JUST 4 BASS | GUIDED BASS FISHING | 910-330-9821

The past couple of weeks has offered it's share of easy Bass fishing and some murky water Bass Fishing conditions as well. The good news is the Bass are still biting in these ever changing conditions.

Shiners on your hook for bait is still your best shot at numbers of Bass on Lake Okeechobee. I fish artificial bait regularly upon customer request (and on my own fishing time) and we've caught fish regularly using this method also.

Here are a few pics from several random trips over the past couple of weeks.

BASS FISHING CHARTERS | LAKE OKEECHOBEE | 910-330-9821

Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing Update: Over the past few days, I have had numerous Charters and wanted to share with all of you some of the fun we've had and a few pics.

The Fishing is still pretty good. The bass aren't quite as big as they were, but we're still picking off some decent fish here and there and quite a few we've caught on artificial. Shiners always prevail for numbers of Bass, but Artificial is the most fun in most cases.

www.okeechobeejust4bass.com | (910) 330 9821 | Bass Fishing Report | Mar 2, - Mar 12, 2015

Over the last two weeks we have had some very stable weather and the winds have not been too bad on Lake Okeechobee. Water temp is in the 70's and we've had a week of the full moon, so the fish are biting pretty good.

The water clarity on the East side of the lake has cleaned up a lot and if you go into the back water, it is a lot cleaner. The North end of the lake is good and the West end of the lake has cleared up a lot too. The best bite for Bass Fishing is still with shiners. On the artificial side this week, a 6 inch Black/Blue Senko and a Watermelon Flukes on the flats have been very good. Also Speed worms and topwater has caught some nice fish the last couple of weeks. Good areas to Bass fish on Lake Okeechobee are J&S,  Grassy Island and the Pass. Here is a picture of my buddy Brock with a couple of fish we have caught this week.
