Did you know the wrist is actually made up of many small joints that work together to carry out daily activities?

In a healthy wrist, smooth cartilage allows bones to glide over each other. Arthritis of the wrist damages the cartilage that cushions the bones, which eventually results in the loss of the cartilage. Without the protective layer, bones start rubbing against each other.
