I work at a hamburger place, tommy's to be exact and recently finished school at le cordon bleu (which I say all the time if I can). I like to try new place which is the chef thing to do that my chef told me at school and at graduation. A friend of mine who is just as crazy about food as me, told me about this place to go and try it. I walked in and was impressed by the setup of the resturant, sadly it was the not the same with the hamburger. Since it was my first time I asked one of the employess, what does everyone order for their first time. It was the double meat bacon cheeseburger is what he said and so I ordered it, you do get free condiments. The prices for each individual thing is horrible i.e (fries, drinks, etc), what was worse is they don't have any combo choices. That's why I believe this location isn't busy even though it is on hulen street, which is right across the street from the mall. The amount of fries are enough for two people, which when your eating a burger isn't that important. Some place's forget that its about the burger, I did like that they used a flat top to a grill. Didn't like that I received two small 4 ounce patties and they put american cheese on it. The chopped onions where a big let down as well as I perfer a single slice or two, I also like my mustard and ketchup on the bottom bun not the top. I did get to talk to one of the cooks to see if they season the grill before they cook, he told me the only thing that they do is put hamburgers on it. No seasoning or white pepper, heck even if they put salt on it before hand would give it more flavor. I have to say that in-n-out did a better job or about close to it, the only thing going for in-n-out is the sauce they put on the burger. I don't think they noticed that fort worth is a meat eating city, with many choices for protiens. Also that we enjoy new exiciting foods, or even choices to make the food out standing. I'm only saying this because I see potential with any place that actually cares about the customer. With being in zagat that means something in the food world, it means people love your food. Maybe you should forget that your food isn't the most important thing, its about finesse which boils down to giving a damn. Customers are also important, food is important but its really about finesse. If you can you do that, then the sky's the limit.

Absolutely excellent place to have a burger. The burgers are "marvelously delicious". Get bacon. Get mushrooms. What ever you want from a large variety of ingredients and dressings. The atmosphere is clean and friendly decked with merits awards and newspaper articles about how good the place is. At the one by my house, They give you free peanuts, but I never have any. A story: One time I had gone vegan for about a week, my dad offered to take me to Five Guys, I went, had a triple-meat bacon cheese and we split the fries, and I had no regrets. And they ARE expensive.

The burgers are great, but for what you get is a little pricey. The cajun fries are good but a little greasy. I would definitely go back.

Sometimes the staff will mix up your order with someone else's in the group if you are ordering with multiple. Other than that the burgers are heavenly. I recommend getting bacon on the burger

The burgers are very good, but the fries are what I come to eat. Highly recommend the food if ingested occasionally - cholesterol and calories you know. The restaurant is wall-papered with replications of positive articles appearing in newspapers and magazines from across the country. Other poster-size advertising practically yelling in your face about the virtues of Five Guys food. C'mon Guys. I'm in the store eating so I don't need any extra convincing. The dining area at this location is spartan at best. The establishment managed to find a radio station playing non-stop 80's hair bands (thank God for Alternative putting the hair band genre to its death).

I go there because they claim that their beef is free from additives and they use peanut oil. Soooo sounds somewhat "healthy". Any who.....customer service is is quick and good. I rather go there than McDonald's.

The burgers are ok. I recommend skipping the fries as they are overly greasy.
