My nephew Liam was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis shortly after he was born this past December.

Cystic fibrosis is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. Real progress in the fight against CF has been made, but the lives of young people with the disease are still cut far too short. We urgently need more support to help find a cure.

To show my support for my adorable little man, I am walking with my family in a team fundraising event in Mt. Pleasant, MI on June 1st. Please help us support the search for a cure by donating to my Great Strides team. Your support will help fuel lifesaving research and medical programs that make a difference for people with the disease. All donations will be used to help support the Foundation's mission of finding a cure and improving the lives of those with CF. And, your gift is 100 percent tax-deductible.

Please help me ensure Liam has many more "tomorrows." Making a donation is easy and secure. Just click on the link below to make a donation to my fundraising page. Any amount you can donate is greatly appreciated!

Very interesting article regarding campus free speech zones. The university was absolutely correct in arresting the woman. She was given options: move to a designated free speech zone or leave. http://www.coastreportonline.com/campus_news/news/article_4fd035fe-6ad7-11e0-b0c9-001cc4c03286.html

Trying to decide what to do for my birthday. Thinking of heading in to Little Rock to do some exploring. I'd like to see this High School sometime, for sure. So much history! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Rock_Central_High_School
