Just had my first laser hair removal treatment. Everything was so nice and everyone was very accommodating. The receptionist seemed a tad... snippy, but my tech was awesome. I don't remember her name but when i book my next appt I will definitely ask for her! I used a Groupon and decided to do a larger area then I originally paid for. The manager was very nice and helpful with that process. Overall, so far a very pleasant experience. Will update after my full course of treatments to speak on the effects of the actual treatment. As far as pain level: I didn't even feel the laser. At all. It was amazing. I wish i hadn't put this off so long! Would STRONGLY recommend. Especially if you can find a groupon! :) BTW: I grew up in the area so I know the traffic, but be warned... TRAFFIC IS A NIGHTMARE. Leave yourself PLENTY of time to get to your appt. EDIT: ONE YEAR LATER: I have done all 6 treatments. The staff was always nice. It was always a different tech though, i guess they had staffing issues? Any way, its called Sona Medspa now I guess but the same people...? Anyway my bikini area is about 60% treated (hairless). I'm a little disappointed especially after telling them multiple times that it wasn't working, they just said it took time. Finally after my 4th treatment I had to get a little bit of an attitude and then they increased the intensity of the laser and that was when I started to really see results. I wish I had spoken up sooner and more forcefully. If all 6 had been that high intensity, I am sure I would have much better results. :(

I had a great experience until this past week. I have been calling, too, and there is no answer. I paid a lot of money and there is not even a corporate number to call. I will be filing a complaint with BBB.

I recently had a laser hair removal session... don't know how I feel about them yet. It's hecka hard to get there if you don't live close by. Even though they make you fill out a medical history form, I was under the impression that someone licensed would do an initial examination of my skin prior to the laser treatment, seeing that "results vary"... no-one did. The person who actually did the procedure was mediocre, at best, in answering my questions about the process. All she told me was that it'd take weeks before I saw any results. Everyone was friendly though.

This place has ripped me off. I paid a lot of money for my facial treatment. About 2 months ago, the receptionist called and cancelled my apointment, and since then no body has been picking up their calls! I am assuming that they closed the store and ran with my money! I can't even trace these ppl now. What a rip-off!

I have been to Allure for 4 out of 6 hair removal sessions. It has worked very well for me. A lot of my hair is gone, but it still looks like I will need the remaining two sessions. The staff has always been polite and courteous. I have also been late for an appointment because of bad traffic, but I do not think it is their fault that I was late. I actually had to turn around becuase traffic was a nigtmare and I was gonna miss my appointment. They did their best to find a time that worked for me to replace it. Another time, they had cancellation after my session, so they were able to accomodate me even though I was late for my appointment. Be warned: I-95 is a parking lot during the summer months, so plan accordingly. I have nothing bad to say about their services or the spa.

The location is hard to find and the receptionist is rude. They are quick to call you and move your appointment but will refuse you service if you are 10 minutes late. Also, the managers are never available nor do they call customers when requested. I only went to this place because I bought a Groupon, I won't go back. They knew they already had my money so there was no customer service. Even though the technicians are nice, I would avoid this spa. Don't you dare be late!
