Editor’s Note: This is the second article in a series of four about autism within families. The next edition will be on this Friday. Many people talk about the increase of autism in this generation...

Story
Tagline
I am an autism advocate and very passionate about it too!
Introduction
I have unique ideas promoting healthy eating habits for all ages & special needs from picky eaters to overeaters, those needing more independence & families planning together. Have you heard of The Eating Game? A little boy with autism and my passion as an autism advocate led me to invent The Eating Game, something that is making a big difference in many lives.
With a Degree in Nutrition, 25 years as a Special Education Teacher, 2 years as a school board Autism Consultant and 3 years as an Early Interventionist I was in a very fortunate position to respond to a friend's cry for help. Using all my education and work experience and passion for autism I created The Eating Game for my friend's son. It was so successful, and still is 4 years later, that I decided I better make more to help others. That has been a success story too! I am very much enjoying being very busy as a retired person!!
