On Friday night, the New York Mets were able to come to an agreement on a deal with free agent outfielder Yoenis Cespedes, as he agreed to a 3-year, $75 million deal; the deal includes an opt-out clause after the first season in which Cespedes gets $27.5 million for that one year before he re-enters free agency.
