Thanks for the quick response, and yes I am using an Echo1 Lipo 11.1 and am shooting on semi auto. Before the stripped piston the lipo's worked great, about 5000 rounds shot with them. And it is my understanding that the krytac's come with a Mosfet installed already, could it be faulty? or even that it's not adequate?

But a new recent update on the issue: I have been having a lot of jams lately, well almost instantly when I load a magazine and insert it into the gun, I might get one shot off before it jams (The gun not the magazine) it seems to be two bb's in the barrel at once. Could this be the hop-up possibly?

And when you flip the gun over and look down the magazine port into the hop-up / air nozzle port. When firing on semi auto, should the air nozzle travel distance vary from shot to shot, or should it return to the exact same location after each shot? I can upload a video if it would help.

Right, the mis feeding issue can be because of crap magazines.. Assuming that everything was fine before, like you said it was, then we're talking about something that happened when the gun was opened. If you are OK in opening gearboxes, check the entire air assembly, and check the contacts. I would manually try the gears and piston without the spring and see if they are any issues, or if the teeth in the piston are meshing correctly. your gun is a perfectly fine and decent Tokyo marui v2 gearbox, which means there are thousands of videos online on how to disassemble one. Airsoft guns are toys, a collection of Springs, plastic, and a very basic principle of pushing air through a barrel. I know there are very good people around that fix them, but seriously, some over state the skills needed to fix a toy. Everyone should learn how to fix their toy gun. I know how expensive those trips to the store can be. Better save it for upgrades. Edit: totally forgot. Please check if you seated the hop up correctly. It may have some movement on it (these should be a spring on it that pushes on the upper receiver toward the gearbox) it would partly explain some issues. And yeah most bbs should fall in more or less the same area. Some will to farther than others but not by huge differences.

Ive got a diagnosis question for this community. I haver a Krytac Trident SPR and am having some issues, the piston recently stripped so I replaced it with a MadDog metal tooth piston, metal high performance piston head, and an aluminum cylinder head. With the gun back together it does shoot but that is where my problem lies. Its
every other or even sometimes every 3rd shot, the bb does not seem to go far at all, probably 10 feet and then drop to the ground. Then the next couple of shots will be right back to normal and then repeat issue. Any ideas on the cause, solution, or thoughts would be much apreciated, thanks.

I would email Airsoft Station and ask for their Head Tech: Chris. You don't have to ask for Chris, but some other people there aren't nearly as good. As for your problem, I have no clue as to what the problem could be in the gearbox. I'm thinking that it could be a hopup, feeding, or air nozzle related problem. Your bucking could have too loose of lips allowing multiple BBs in the chamber, which is a double feed. You could have hopup chamber to air nozzle air seal problems, causing you to lose velocity. Your bucking could have internal problems when it comes to hopping the BB. My guess would be misfeeding and double feeding or an air seal problem.

Even if the piston is stopping on its way backwards, it shouldn't cause a loss in velocity. Just double shots or weird half cocked shots. So I don't think that the problem is overspin, else he would be saying that the gun is shooting 2 times on semi. If you have changed your barrel length then the cylinder might not be getting enough air out of the barrel, but I doubt that that is the problem.

Ron Berry from St. George, Utah admits that he’s “obsessed, this is my addiction” and his handicraft produced a one of a kind VW styled bus that is definitely unique.  Plus the engine that powers this cartoonish vehicle has a deep connection with Berry’s early drag racing roots. Even as a youth Berry enjoyed drawing cars but they always had a cartoonish feel to them.  He has built all sorts of cars and kid’s toys, including bathtub go-karts, dogg...
