This is probably the best and most practical "self help" piece I've ever read on productivity and goal achievement: https://medium.com/s/notes-on-changing-your-life/how-to-develop-better-habits-in-2019-143e1e21ecbc Highly recommended! In fact... read it twice. ;-)

Repost from Jenn's Trends ~ Instagram NEWS: Starting TODAY, Instagram will begin deleting comments, likes, and follows from those accounts that use 3rd party tools to gather these followers and/or engagement.

If you use a 3rd party tool for these things, you will receive a notification in your app alerting you to this and telling you to change your password.

We can assume that these 3rd party tools will start to get shut down more prevalently too. If you use them, the new AI in IG will ensure those likes/comments/etc. are removed from your account. And if you keep using them (although this is not stated directly), I would bet that you could see your account get restricted and even shut down.

If you are relying on apps to help you find new followers, generate engagement, or otherwise interact on your behalf, it is time to STOP!

8 Blog Post Formatting Best Practices to Follow:

* Sentence Length: Aim for 25 words or less per sentence.

* Paragraph Length: Stick to three sentences or fewer per paragraph.

* Word Count: The best post length is however long it takes to make your point.

* Image Placement: Consider adding at least one image per 300 words.

* Form / Lead Magnet Placement: Make opt-in forms easy to find. They can either be placed in-line (aim for somewhere near the beginning or end) or using a (tasteful) pop-up.

* Links: Make links open in a new window so users aren’t taken away from what they’re trying to read.

* Usage of Header Tags: Use one H1 header for your headline, H2 tags for sub-headers, and H3 tags for points beneath sub-headers. Use header tags H4 through H6 sparingly.

* Flow of Information: Have a clear introduction, body, and conclusion.
