Was tempted to tea by the cafe's high ratings but my dining companion and I found ourselves terribly underwhelmed. The scones and it's accompanying cream left much to be desired, which we felt was difficult to overlook. That said, the chocolate tart and the flourless chocolate cake was pretty good and so if you do go, I'll recommend trying those!

its hard to write a complete review of The Pepperpot as I have the same thing every time....The best friggin scrambled eggs in town. be it plain , cheesy with mushrooms or bacon they are complete winners. Theres a lot of cream in the mix, total treat. On a hot day the room is a bit of a glass house though. Oh yeah lovely staff

Went there with 3 French friends, we were all amazed by the taste of the food, the desserts are just incredible. I highly recommend it !

Seriously my most favourite place in the world. Amazing food (especially the rosted pear and cheddar sandwich!!) lovely stuff, unique atmosphere... My recommendation No. 1 for Dublin.

It's tiny and cosy and yummy and everything you would want from a downtown caf. And, did I mention the chocolate cake? No? It's to die(t) for!

If sometimes you feel that choosing between soup and sandwich is hard, you'll welcome the mini-soup idea as much as I did: a dainty teacup filled with the soup of the day will come your way to warm you up without making you full. The location and atmosphere are very nice, the waitresses are lovely and it is refreshing to find a place where they bake their own rather than buying from some mysterious cake factory on the outskirts. Cute, good and filling!
