Jessy was a beautiful bunny. I loved seeing her and her guinea pig friend enjoying themselves inside and outside. It was also so sweet to see her hopping by to see what you were up to. The words of your song are beautiful as well. Evangeline sings like an angel. Thank you for sharing this and for welcoming Flopsy into your life as well. Benny

Thank you, Jodi!  So glad you like the ghosts!  Maybe make a few extra "just in case" ghosts because a few eyeballs fell out.  Christin said she is going to hotglue the eyes on after they dry. That may work well, too. I haven't tried it.  I thought ghosts made completely of glue would stick to eyes, wouldn't you?!  Most were just fine- just a couple popped out.  Have fun!  Carolyn

I love your posts!  Thanks for hunting down the ten frame freebies-they will definitely come in handy.  I did have to smile that on the day you focus on learning about clouds there isn't one to be found in the sky...we can do all kinds of great planning but Mother Nature has a mind of her own!  I LOVED the "Snap Your Joy" video, so nice to see.

Rest up, feel better and enjoy your weekend.

That is too bad that someone would leave negative feedback, especially since you were gifting us with your hard work.  I don't understand why people choose to do that.  I do believe if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

Carolyn, you are generous with your ideas and always  so generous in the comments you leave on other blogs.  I did try to read yesterday's blog but you must have taken it down already.  You rock, thank you for gift.

This looks like so much fun I think I'll do it tomorrow! Thank you!
This is a fun little winter activity that I have always loved to make with my class.  At first you may not see the correlation between dragons and winter- but... you'll see! First, I read There's No Such Thing as a Drago...

Well, that swallowing a quarter is terrifying.  Poor little one, thank goodness you were there for her to hang on to (and possibly throw up on a little/a lot).  These are the things the teachers of older kids miss out on.  I had a student put a pen up his nose (where he got it I don't know!)...the pen came out but the lid stayed in.  This was about 20 years ago.  I drove him to the hospital and his mom met us there.  The doctor stuck some tiny little forceps up there and pulled it right out!! YUCK!!

It is soooooooooooo cool when the kids get excited about something and go with it.  You are a wonderful teacher to go with them and help them learn even more.  AND it is amazing that you had so many feathers to stoke their excitement.
Thanks for sharing!

You could teach a course on using mentor texts!  I am saving this post so I can go back and really check out the books I haven't used (or bought) yet.  Thank you!

So much to love about this post!  Thanks for the punctuation song, that will be a fun one.  So will all the birthday songs...the mouse one is adorable and since I have a mouse puppet that my students LOVE that might be my go to song!  Were those your little darlings saying the punctuation poem?  Absolutely precious!  Hope you have a great weekend!

HILARIOUS!!!! I love reading your blog. Everyday I either learn something, laugh my head off, or nod my head vigorously in agreement. I'm so glad I found it.
