I chose BRENNAN HEATING & AIR COND LLC to install a new gas furnace and a new gas water heater. A team of 2 showed up to my house and had the job done in about 3 hours. The quality of the install was very good, and I could tell that these guys knew what they were doing and had been trained well. Very happy with the bid I got, and the service that was performed. Would highly recommend!

We had to call on Jason and Tim 3 times to come and fix our heater. We are renters and they treated us the same as if we owned this house! They came the same day as the heater went out and had us up and running. They made another trip out the next day to try and see if they could fix the problem the contractors caused when this house was built. It ran ok for a week but went out again. They came immediately and got us squared away! Thank you Jason for being so diligent and for doing such a good job! Very professional! They are the BEST!

Our Brennan service tech, Adam, diagnosed a consistent problem with our gas furnace. Being on Bainbridge, we do not have natural gas service, we use propane. The original installer failed to convert one of our two gas furnaces from natural gas to propane. In the two years we've lived here we've had the original installer out twice to fix the furnace because it kept losing its pilot. Their visits were expensive, at $300 each, and totally ineffective. Adam diagnosed the problem, recommended that a propane conversion be installed, and quickly installed the required parts once they were available. We now have a gas furnace properly configured for propane that heats our living room.

I've upgraded Brennan to three stars. I was not pleased with the install work and I was actually the one who discovered they incorrectly set the mini-dip pins on the control board for a single-stage furnace, rather than a high-efficiency two-stage model. They also, I found out recently, switched the exterior air exhaust and intake, which explains why my siding has been damaged...when the furnace runs it's constantly blowing warm, wet condensate right back toward my house. But I must say I was quite impressed today when they came out and did a great job fixing the swapped exhaust/intake pipes. No charge, and we're talking six years after the original install...so, that's pretty darn good. Just make sure the install team isn't rushing through the job like the crew who tackled mine...

We just had a heat pump installed by Brennan. We found them through Costco. They came to our home for an evaluation of our needs and gave us a very fair price. They showed up on the day of install on time and ready to work. The crew are all employed by Brennan. They do not sub out any of their work. So, they all work well together. They completed the job very quickly and professionally. They were very neat and tidy. If they had to enter the home they always took their shoes off. They were very polite and respectful. We even have a cat that can not go outside and they were very aware of not letting her out. We were very impressed with there friendly attitude and the finished product.

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) recommended Brennan Heating, so although they were slightly more expensive than the two other bids we got, we went with Brennan to be safe. Unfortunately the experience was awful. The installers didn't use ground cloth so our basement floors and walls were filthy (installed in January), the existing oil furnace was to be resold, which we told the installer, but still the electrical chords and casing were cut so we couldn't re-sell. The oil gas lines were not cut back so they are still free hanging from the ceiling. The installer (kid) fell off the roof (no safety measures were used), but still wanted to finish the job (we were worried about his condition/clear head). Lastly we told the estimator we wanted a split for a gas stove in the future, but the kid said he wasn't told that so we would have to re-dig up our pipeline and have new permits when we install a gas stove in the future. All in all, in every way, we were very disappointed with the professionalism (lack of) and quality of the installation. We submitted this complaint with Brennan, who would not take responsibility for any of their actions, and to the Better Business Bureau and PSE – hopefully PSE will take them off their recommendation list at the very least.
