Question for +Rich Hyndman +Nick Butcher and any Android devs working with push notifications and networks:

Are there any specific IP addresses/ranges for Google Cloud Messaging other than all 227 IP blocks under Google's entire 15169 ASN (see list at https://www.dan.me.uk/bgplookup?asn=15169)? I've seen the various stackoverflow Q&As and the GCM docs, but am hoping for a simpler answer for our sysadmins...

Thanks in advance!

Hi there. My group (LCL-70) has gone completely silent and I this group sounds really lively and interesting!

I'm a software developer with a focus on mobile (iOS, Android, etc) and getting software to interact with the real world is a real passion of mine.

I run a Code Club at my 10 year-old son's primary school here in the UK — they've been learning Scratch for a year now and are really creating some great projects (see their latest work here: http://scratch.mit.edu/galleries/view/191340).

I'm also interested in connecting Scratch to the real world — so I've got my son working with Enchanting (like Scratch but outputs to LEJOS on the LEGO Mindstorms kit) and have a Raspberry Pi robot kit (http://cymplecy.wordpress.com/2012/11/18/parts-list-for-a-scratchpibot-mk1/) waiting for some time to spend on it.

I look forward to sharing with you!
