I'm a big dude. 250lbs, my bicycle is how I stay active. But dang it, I kept poping spokes and bending rims. So I asked around and ppl kept telling me 48 spokes was the way to go. So I went all around and a 48 spoke wheel it turns out is basicaly unatainable. In my adventures to all the other bike shops in the area, ONLY Pat's presented me with an alternative solution to my problem. They put on thicker gauge spokes. That was 2 years ago, Its been great, I havent poped any more spokes or destroyed any more wheels.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. A few months ago I took my bike to a different bike shop to fix the gears and spent $70 and waited 4 days only to have nothing fixed at all. I took my bike in to Pat's Bike shop and within 2 hours they had it perfectly fixed and now my bike is riding like a dream. On top of that it only cost me $18. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They are now my go to bike shop.

Stopped in while on a tour, they spotted a failing rim,, replaced that, sold me a new sturdier rack, adjustments etc, work done in 1 hour excellent prices.

I took an old frame today and asked them to build me a single speed....by the end of the day...the guy was really helpful and was able to do everything I wanted!
