Really! This was the worst experience for a Casino Night I have ever imagined! If you need to be entertained by a bunch of loud mouth idiots in poorly dressed costumes running around setting up a poorly assembled casino/gambling area when arriving this is your place! Yes VIP is a Joke!, $5.00 for a half a glass of soda!< (Warm half can of Coke, with ice in a small glass). Others paying cash were charged $15.00 for two drinks. Did not stay for the dinner, as was already extremely disappointed. I am sure for the price, you can have a fantastic time somewhere else! :(

Murder Mystery Dinner Theater absolutely done the right way. This group knows how to engage the audience and make everyone feel as though they are part of the evening festivities. Cozy enough to not miss a single clue, especially whey they project everything you need to know on the ceiling. The meal was delicious and the accommodations in the B&B took you back to the early 1900's. We stayed the night in the Valentine room which was fabulous right down to the ornate wood carved furniture and fireplace (with a tempurpedic king size bed!) Splendid!

Not a B&B - no breakfast (small print on website) No maid service in 3 night stay No A/C or screens in windows that open. Inn is For Sale and currently not paying much attention to guests

Did the Haunted House Hunt on Halloween Night! Had a super FUN time. The food was good. The show was fun and unique. The characters were very likable and I plan to come back and check out the casino nights. Also spent the night in the Valentine Suite. All a VERY worth while experience and I recommend it to anyone looking for something fun and different to do. Thanks for a good time.

I don't normally write reviews for anything but I felt that we had such a great experience that it is needed! My family and I stayed the night and went to the Casino Night Heist and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Walt, the owner of the Lumber Baron made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. He gave us a tour of the Inn and told us about the history behind the beautiful bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Col Franklin room and it was comfortable for the two of us. The cast of the Casino Night Heist were hilarious and attentive. Our favorite of the night was Stephanie Bruce who played the hilarious Willy Whet, an aspiring game show host. She was hilarious the entire time and made sure to learn all of the names of the folks sitting at her blackjack table. I would suggest this mystery dinner theater to absolutely everyone! We left in the morning with great satisfaction and memories. It was worth every penny!

My husband and I just did the Haunted House Hunt! Mystery Dinner last night and I'm still on a fun high!! I can't believe how much I enjoyed this and even my quiet and introvert husband got to participate on stage and I got to seem him laugh out loud more than I've seen in a long while. The cast is full of amazing, talented, and friendly folk who make you feel truly welcomed and at ease. The food was very good with tasty desserts that follow. I can't wait to go back for their next show! I'm hooked!

The VIP tickets are a complete joke. For the $20 difference in prince you would be better off to pay for the $5 drinks. There is not a single picture of any member of our party. We were seemingly shunned the entire evening. Picking your table is not a $20 value and free show photos aren't free as they charge for a flash drive if you want watermark free photos anyway. While the show was entertaining and fun we felt the VIP tickets should've had some value over the general admission. Being our first time I attempted to ask the character Nancy a question since I thought she had said we could get other drinks upstairs but when I asked she said we were doing things only downstairs for now. Poor service and mediocre food left us with a bad taste about the VIP experience. Definitely didn't feel like a VIP - felt like they treated us as ghosts. Tried multiple times to post a comment to their website and strangely it wouldn't work and said I didn't have JAVA enabled when I do. Also not handicapped accessible and that wasn't listed anywhere when we purchased the tickets.

I had my birthday dinner at the Lumber Baron and I must say it was the best time EVER!!! I absolutely loved it and I will recommend it and take any family and friends who are wanting an amazing night out in Denver! The cast was so wonderful and the story line was so funny! If you are on the cusp of a decision to go... just do it!!
