I'll admit being behind on how Google+ has changed. I still remember the anticipation and excitement when I was at a client site in Walnut Creek, CA and really wanted to get an invitation to understand what was new about this new social network. Thanks to +Pete McDowell for giving me that invite. Obviously, it hasn't panned out like we expected. I had secretly hoped that it would be big enough I could get out of Facebook, but no such luck.

I'm not sure what to think. While I do not foresee at all giving up my iPhone, it is nice to have a 3rd major competing operating system. I think one thing that killed it was the constant -- you have Windows Phone 7. Oops, sorry, you can't go to 8. You have 8. Oops, you can't go to 10. That was ridiculous. I liked Windows Phone 7 when I had a work one, but we gave them up because the management software was not available. At that point I went to a Galaxy S3 and had that until moving to an iPhone 6.

Lost any remaining respect for the guy.

I read countless articles about iTunes being bloated, needing to be completely written and broken apart. Generally, yeah, I agree, but once I understood the idiosyncracies, I got used to it. I change my mind. When stuff doesn't work, or works very differently, it is not a good UI experience. I switched which iTunes account was logged into iTunes, and it completely messed up my iTunes match account, and it made no sense how to re-enable iTunes Match within iTunes (latest 12.2.x whatever version). I finally did it after playing with it intermittently over the last 36 hours. Lesson learned: Don't mess with it. I was about ready to stop my subscription (it auto-renews next month), but I guess I'll keep it.
