It was an amazing hike! My fiance and I did the entire hike in about 4 hours. Super intense but amazing pictures. Worth the sweat!

A no-fee state park: how do they do it? Very nice coastal hikes and views (give or take fog). This is an excellent place to stop on the way to or from Big Sur. I had a picnic and hike here and had a look at the surf through my binoculars. Garrapata State Park is known for its population of sea otters.

Like almost all of highway one, this region is also breathtaking and dramatic. A global competitor in beauty.

The view of the ocean from the Park are spectacular. Unfortunately, the Rocky Ridge and Sobranes Creek trails need extensive repair. They are highly eroded which has resulted in hikers creating new trails. The portion of the Sobranes Creek trail imediately above the creek is dangerous. The trails should be closed and repaired before someone is injured and the damage to the Park becomes irrerversible.
