As soon as we walked into this space, we knew it was going to be fun, warm, friendly and romantic. The service was stellar and the food was phenomenal. The small plate of sea bass with smoked anchovy, serrano pepper and greens was heaven. Also, the sturgeon dish was perfect, light, and delicious. Leah (the manager, I guess) suggested some incredible red wines (international and more local) and some regional dessert wine as well. What an amazing evening!

Disappointed. None of the 4 meals at my table were even mediocre. The place came highly recommended too. The service was great at least and dessert was pretty good also. Maybe they just had a bad night in the kitchen.

This place was packed and I didn't have reservations. I was apprehensive about taking my date to eat at the bar but as it happens, those are the best seats. The Chicken Fried Oysters are amazing. Amazing. The bar staff was so friendly and the drinks were incredible concoctions. I'm not a mixed drink guy at all but the bartenders here will turn you. Don't miss the chance to eat here. You can't fail.

BE CAREFUL: The fried chicken was under cooked and made my wife sick causing her to throw up, and a long black hair was cooked into my food. I noticed when it was dangling a piece of oyster off my fork. Talk about gross! I loved this place the first time I went. We had a business meeting and took a vendor out for a nice dinner. All went well so I decided to take my wife out on a spontaneous date. The service was pretty good the second time, our server was pleasant and knowledgeable. The food had good flavor. I ordered the Fried Oysters (with hair cooked into the batter) with a trout entree and a glass of wine. My wife ordered a delicious asparagus appetizer with the(under cooked) fried chicken entree and cocktail. It was an expensive dinner that ended in disappointment and sickness. They comp-ed the oysters, in my opinion the least they could do. As far as my wife's chicken we threw out the leftovers the next morning after she got sick.

Nice atmosphere, but almost no value from the menu. The best was the pale ale at $6 a pull. The razor clam soup was portioned with three spoonfuls at the bottom of the bowl. Took my father-in-law out for his birthday. Six adults and two kids equaled $275 and $60 tip. Still hit up Taco Bell on the way home because my wife and I were hungry.

Good service - overpriced food for what it is (when it is not happy hour). Do not get the appetizers!

The ribs were super small. Yes tasty, but when you see $26 for ribs you think i'm going to be full after eating them. I had three small (3"x2") pieces of (17 hrs) smoked boneless ribs. Not to mention while i'm on a date with my wife we were expecting to have some drinks and an appetizer. Well the cheapest wine was over $10/glass, so we decided to pass. Two weeks ago I was in France for business and had great wine for much cheaper! The appetizer was good, had the $12 Country Ham with Biscuits. Could have used two more biscuits for the amount of sides they provided. But otherwise tasty. Overall, I don't recommend, and we won't be back.
