The hostess was great. She greeted us and got our table together on the patio quickly. The waitress was fast and knowledgeable. The patio was clean and beautiful. The menu was on point and the food was delicious. I enjoyed my meal and my date. The drinks were tasty and they really delivered. If you haven't tried it then try it. Try it. Try it.

Once again I enjoyed my favorite, the Power Lunch. Each course excellent: the beet soup, sweet potato samosa, shrimp and scallops. The beet soup appears so simple but the combination of texture and spices make it so satisfying! I also enjoyed the simple elegance of the restaurant and excellent service.

Delicious, healthy, and flavorful food. Many options to accommodate various food preferences. I went with the vegetarian combo and thought it was delicious! It was maybe a mix of too many flavors so when I go back I'll probably go with a simpler option. I also love lentils but they needed to be cooked more. My husband had the spicy chicken curry. Great flavor. If you like spicy food, which we do, then dig in! The samosas were outstanding and mild enough to feed to our twin boys. Samosas are actually the perfect option for little people. We ran into a slight problem with only one high chair but the staff were super helpful and borrowed one from a restaurant next door. I have to mention here that we LOVED the crew working at Bijou's they were friendly and fun. Dining with 15 month twin boys can be challenging and they made us feel welcomed. The atmosphere and music was also a TON OF FUN! Quick, healthy, and our little guys were thoroughly entertained by the music. We will be back

Service was very bad. Food was good and delicious. But if the service is bad I won't come back. And won't recommend for service.

Where are the Indians? We walk in with reservations and were seated, and were proceeded to be ignored for something to drink for about 8 minutes, even though the waitress was glancing at us. Not a good way to start off. After ordering some water, we were warmly greeted with a nasty face because there was no up sale on wine or beer. Not everyone drinks liquor, beer, or wine. These damn people nowadays have no idea that we just might order a bunch of food. After ordering over 130 dollars worth of food the attitude of the waiter changed slightly but I could still tell there was nightmares lingering of just having water on the table. I left 20 percent tip on like a 140$ bill. A few days later we went down to the local taqueria, where they actually take care of you, and tipped 20 bucks on a 30 dollar bill. The waitress at the taqueria made almost just as much as this other clown. The food was iiiight. Not sure if we will be coming back.

Interesting food choices but the taste is just about alright. The pistachio naan was delicious and so was the mango chutney that came with the lentil naan. The cardamom butter cookies were really good. All in all, 3.5/5.

Came here for Houston Restaurant Week. Everything tastes great. Portions were small but good enough. Would come back for sure.

We had the 5 course tasting menu. The food was good, no doubt about that, but overall for almost $200 we were disappointed. The service, while very friendly, was not trained in how to serve a tasting menu. We didn't get good explanations of what we were eating, the time between dishes was inconsistent, and to start it off, the cocktail flight drink order was messed up and they brought us 6 cocktails at once, allowing them to get watery before we were able to enjoy them. Finally, I had to skip work today because of my stomach, I've eaten street food all over India and my stomach never felt as upset as it did this morning.
